Frequently asked questions
How does a throw score?
The dolly only scores when it is knocked clean off its iron spindle. If your stick strikes the iron first, it doesn't count, even if the dolly comes off afterwards.
How do I aim?
Drag back from the stick to set angle and power like a slingshot, or swipe to flick it away. Both controls use the same physics, so use whichever feels most natural.
Can I change the throwing order?
Yes. Open the Throwing Order screen from the bottom bar, or set it between legs on the leg-break sheet. Drag teammates to reorder, and choose who throws last.
Is there any money or betting involved?
No. Dolly Off is a game of skill only. There is no betting, no in-app currency tied to real money, and no real-world rewards.
How do I add a photo for my captain?
Open the Captain screen from the Team Bench, then tap the portrait to take a new photo or choose one from your library. The photo is painted into a card and kept only on your device.
Does the app work without an internet connection?
Yes. Dolly Off has no servers and no account — every fixture, result and setting is stored on your device, so it works fully offline.
